Supplement for Call of Cthulhu 7th edition in Italian The world's most infamous city. The City of Sin. With the end of the Great War, Berlin has developed a reputation for licentiousness. It is the place where, for the right price, one can obtain anything. It is both a city of pleasures and business; its streets are crowded with prostitutes, disabled veterans, poor immigrants, and political activists, shoulder to shoulder with suited businessmen, students, and artists. In the sewers flows the blood of political assassinations, while communists and völkisch nationalists clash with each other and the police. Until late at night, Berlin's cabarets, famous around the world, offer an apparently limitless supply of music, dances, and exciting entertainment, in stark contrast to the gray buildings that run for countless kilometers along the crowded streets of the city. To this boiling cauldron, Berlin: The City of Sin adds the fantastic element of the Cthulhu Mythos. The city is a melting pot of occult organizations, strange sects, and whispered rumors. In the air of the world capital of sin, it is questioned what it means to be human. So, as the city moves toward its inevitable and gloomy fate, the oppressive atmosphere becomes increasingly felt, pushing the sanity of investigators to the breaking point. This book presents Berlin in the 1920s as it would have been experienced by visitors and residents of the time. It provides guidance on how to create investigators for a campaign centered on Berlin, along with organizations of investigators to help the group solidify. Important personalities, key locations, and a system for generating urban landscape details are included. With details on crime and justice, the city's criminal world, and its great culture, the tools provided help the Keeper understand what makes Berlin unique. Three scenarios are included that cover the entire history of Berlin from the end of the Great War to the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Each one contains vivid details about Berlin and its inhabitants, focusing on different themes of horror, and can be combined to form a Berlin-based campaign or taken as solo adventures for residents of Berlin or visitors to the city. In The Devil Eats Flies, Germany is on the brink of economic disaster and political chaos. The ghost of a madman haunts the city, driving its citizens insane. To stop this demonic spirit and save an exiled Russian princess, investigators must make a pact with another sinister power and wonder who else they are willing to see die to save the city. Dances of Depravity, Horror & Ecstasy takes place during the golden years of the city when the situation has seemingly stabilized and once again prospered. A bumbling sorcerer, a depraved dancer, and a strange sect of gnostic Saturn worshippers threaten to put an end to all this and transform Berlin into a hell of madness and depravity. In Schreckfilm, Berlin is projected toward its dramatic future. Investigators must face a mysterious cabal of important city figures who are determined to exploit the city's world-famous film industry for their insane plans. Trapped in a labyrinth of their own creation and relentlessly pursued by dark forces beyond their understanding, investigators must confront fundamental questions about what is real and what is an illusion. IMPORTANT NOTE: This book addresses mature themes, including drugs and sex, and is intended for adult players. This supplement works best with the role-playing game CALL OF CTHULHU - 7th Edition and as an option with PULP CTHULHU, both available separately. Hardcover, full color, 248 pages.
